Program that plays .avi files cleanly? |
|
|
Hi,
I want a program (Mac or Windows) that can play a .avi file (or another
high-quality video format) into a secondary display. The ideal
situation is this:
- The movie is displayed cleanly (no menus, no program bugs, no mouse
pointer, just the images)
- The available movies are listed in some way on the first monitor and I
can play any of them arbitrarily.
DVD player for Mac does all this perfectly, BUT it only plays DVDs of
course.
The idea is that it will be used to play video during a live TV show.

I think QuickTime Player will do what you want. In full screen mode, the
menus go away immediately, and the cursor disappears a short time after
you stop moving it. I haven't tried it out with a second monitor, though. |
