would you believe Pyramid?
haha
I thought I would give them a try
I dont need a lot of sub so I figure anything with a nice low resonant F
would be fine
these have about a 32hz Resonant F and I have a pair of 4cu ft boxes tuned
to 35hz that I put them in.
London Drugs in Canada sells em for $40 each
part number PW FX127 Pyramid drivers.
I really like them so far.
wish I could find the TS parameters for them
but they really make nice bass in these boxes.
Totally worth the money.

gonna run em off of a pair of 6L6PP monoblocks.
good for about 20W of class A
plenty of oomph and I havent hit em with more than 5 watts yet.

I read somewhere that Pyramid has upped their quality in their latest
models. They sacrifice sensitivity though (69dB/1W/1M).

If London Drugs carries it, it's gotta be fairly decent - 15 day
unquestioned return policy and they honor their warranties :-)

Good company.
